Award winning actress Mary Uranta is currently the rave of the moment ,following the APC victory at the presidential elections. This is because she was the only actress endorsed by the party to campaign for the party while all other movie stars pledged their support to president Jonathan. We gathered that efforts were made to get some of the Alist stars to support the opposition party during the campaign but none of them obliged as they all campaigned vigorously for pres.Jonathan and no doubt enjoyed the financial empowerment that came with it. Little was it imagined that the opposition party would record a landslide victory. Although the likes of Omotola,Tonto Dike and few others supported none of the candidates. This light skinned actress who hails from River State Portharcourt was a figure head at all the APC presidential rallies held specifically in Port Harcourt and Lagos States, and story has it that she will be handsomely rewarded for her support to the campaign especially being the only movie star who agreed to identify with the party during its campaign. .Talented actress is no new name in the movie industry and has been acting for about 10 years now. She is the brand ambassador for Redkarpettv and also owns a movie production outfit called 50th Film Academy. She premiered her first produced movie titled Husband Shopping which was shot in Ghana few months ago and the event held at Four Points By Sheraton, Lekki, Lagos had the likes of Lagos society women Data Okorodudu,Grace Egbagbe,Ndidi Obioha and several others in attendance. The Rivers state born screen diva who beat the likes of Ini Edo,Tonto Dikeh,Mercy Johnson and co recently to clinch the City People Best Actress Award, at the last City People Entertainment awards, is a United Nation as well as Niger Delta Peace Ambassador.
